Here is the English translation of the explanation on plasma surface cleaning and organic matter removal:

Plasma surface cleaning is an eco-friendly, dry cleaning technology that utilizes high-energy ions, electrons, radicals, and ultraviolet (UV) light to physically and chemically remove contaminants from the surface of a material, contrasting with wet methods that use chemical solvents.

It is particularly exceptional at removing microscopic organic contaminants, making it widely used for pretreatment in semiconductor manufacturing, displays, printed circuit boards (PCBs), polymer materials, and metal components.

1. Core Principles of Organic Matter Cleaning
Plasma-based organic cleaning is primarily driven by oxygen ("O" _2) gas or air, operating through three main combined mechanisms:

Chemical Reaction (Ashing): Highly reactive oxygen radicals ("O" ^*) generated within the plasma chemically bond with organic matter ("C" _x "H" _y) on the surface. This process breaks the carbon-carbon and carbon-hydrogen bonds of the contaminants, eventually converting them into gaseous carbon dioxide (〖"CO" 〗_2) and water vapor ("H" _2 "O" ), which are then exhausted via a vacuum pump or exhaust system.

Ultraviolet (UV) Decomposition: Powerful UV energy generated during the plasma discharge directly targets and cleaves the molecular structures of organic contaminants. This breaks down organic matter into smaller molecules, greatly accelerating subsequent chemical reactions with oxygen radicals.

Physical Collision (Sputtering): High-energy ions directly bombard the surface, physically breaking the bonds of contaminants and knocking them loose. However, during organic cleaning, processes are typically controlled to rely more heavily on chemical reactions and UV decomposition to prevent damage to the substrate material.

2. Major Plasma Cleaning Methods
Depending on the processing environment and material characteristics, plasma cleaning is largely divided into two methods:

Low-Pressure (Vacuum) Plasma Method

Principle: The inside of a sealed chamber is evacuated into a vacuum, process gas is injected, and radio frequency (RF) power is applied to generate plasma.

Advantage: Because the entire chamber is filled with uniform plasma, it is highly advantageous for cleaning microscopic organic matter on three-dimensional or complex-shaped components.

Atmospheric Pressure Plasma (Plasma Jet) Method

Principle: High-voltage discharge is applied while flowing argon ("Ar" ), nitrogen ("N" _2), or air under atmospheric pressure, ejecting a high-speed plasma plume through a nozzle.

Advantage: Eliminating the need for a vacuum chamber allows it to be installed directly inline (In-line), making it suitable for high-speed cleaning and surface modification (enhancement of hydrophilicity) on localized areas.

3. Key Advantages and Effects of Plasma Cleaning
Zero Residue: Because no liquid detergents are used, no chemical residues (such as watermarks) remain after cleaning.

Enhanced Surface Wettability (Hydrophilicity): As organic contaminants are removed, polar functional groups are formed on the surface, increasing surface energy. This dramatically improves the bonding strength for subsequent coating, adhesion, printing, and bonding processes.

Eco-Friendliness and Safety: It eliminates the use of toxic organic solvents (such as TCE or IPA), safeguarding worker safety and preventing environmental pollution.
